The DLSZ Book Mobile Project visited Bagong Silang Elementary School and Cupang Elementary School last August 5, 2012. BroLee together with the DLSZ librarians and people from the Campus Ministry Office entertained the kids thru a dance number. While Ms. Ann Bansig of the LRC shared her wonderful stories with the kids, which made the kids more excited to see the Book Mobile.

Introducing BroLee!

Introducing BroLee!

BroLee is the newest addition to the LRC family and was introduced last June 15, 2012 to the DLSZ community.

Coined from the term “libro”, which means book in Filipino, BroLee represents the Lasallian Brothers of the East Asia District. You can catch him during Book Mobile turnover ceremonies, or whenever there are different LRC-sponsored school activities.

Or sometimes, you can catch him simply reading in the library.

Last September 6, 2011, the DLSZ-Learning Resource Team together with members from the Social Action Office and the Zonta Club of Alabang transferred 6 units of the Book Mobile library. Soldiers’ Hills Elementary School received 3 units of Book Mobiles and at the same time, Lakeview Elementary School also received 3 units of Book Mobiles.

Aside from the turnover of the Book Mobiles, students from the 2 elementary schools enjoyed storytelling sessions from the LRC and Zonta Club people. People from SAO, on the other hand, gave out gifts and toys for the kids.
