PROGRAM and ACTIVITIES

1. BOOK FAIR
Book Exhibitors (Scholastic ,Fully Booked,Adarna and OMF )will be invited to showcase Books and other Educational Materials
Venue:CPA Lobby/Multi Purpose Hall Lower Grades -November 25-28, 2014
2. SEMINAR ON PLAGIARISM
The DLSZ-LRC will be inviting a speaker to talk about Plagiarism to students from Grades 7-9 on November 28, 2014
3. READ-ALONG DIGITAL STORYTELLING FESTIVAL
In Digital storytelling, the use of technology is incorporated into Traditional Storytelling format.Images and video are used
to create a short movie.
4. BOOK SPINE POETRY CONTEST
To join this contest,participants will have to submit photo memes showing books line-up or stacked in a articular order so that titles
on the book spines create a poem: This is open to all High School students.Entries should be emailed to bansig@dlszobel.edu.ph
or posted at DLSZ-LRC Facebook Fun Page.The best three entries will be rewarded.
5. FIESTA ARCH MAKING CONTEST
This contest is open to High School students. Each High School class is given a chance to make an Arch using recyclable materials
following the Scholastic theme: FIESTA .Mechanics will be emailed to Teachers and Academic Coordinators
6. WIN,LOSE OR DRAW
The contest is open to all High School Faculty members of DLSZ. Each level should select seven(7) members to comprise a team.
The Objective of the game is to guess the mystery word(s) in every round or category.The mystery word shall be illustrated
on the board by a team representative known as the illustrator.To help the other team members identify the mystery word,the illustrator
will have to sketch clues and will NOT be allowed to write numbers or letters , nor act out or use body language or gestures.
Venue: Art Room, St. Mutien Marie Bldg./ November 27, 2014
7. BELEN-MAKING CONTEST
The Contest is an inter-level competition open to all High School students. Each section of the level shall send one representative
to form one team composed of nine members. The members shall select their leader who then assigns duties and responsibilities
for each member.Each competing team will have to bring their own materials for the contest.The creation of the Belen shall commence
on November 22,2014.As a form of installation art,the Belen should be located in a strategic area.All Teams should identify where
they are to  install their Belen. Final installation shall be held on November 28, 2014.
