Book Fair ( July 20 – 24 ) 8:00am- 4:00pm Venue: LG Multipurpose Hall and CPA Lobby
• Book Exhibitors (Fully Booked, Scholastic, National Bookstore and The Learning Library) will be invited for the event to showcase books and other Educational Materials
• The proposed venue for the exhibit will be at the Division 1- Lower Grades Building.
• Date of exhibit will be from July 20- 24, 2015
• Proceed of the book fair will be allotted for the expansion of the Book Mobile project of the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School.

• Pupils from Lower Grades (Pre K- Kinder) will grace a parade in their favourite book character costumes. A letter will be given a week before the said event.

• A fun workshop for children getting ready to read: teaches letter sounds plus word reading strategies and develops the love of reading.

Grade 2: Literature Based Arts and Crafts (July 21, 2015; Tuesday) Venue: LG LRC
2 sections per session
• How do the illustrations aid in the unfolding of a story? Budding artists will be introduced to world-class illustrators by trying out their art techniques.

Grade 3: Coloring Technique Workshop c/o Crown Supply (July 22, 2015; Wednesday) 7: 20- 8:20am Venue: Sports Pavilion
Whole level; one session only

Grade 4: Fish Bowl Contest Venue: UPG LRC
2 participant per section only
• Students may use any art and collaging materials, cut outs, print outs or any recycled materials to decorate their mock up fishbowls.

Grade 5: Fish Book (Writing Contest) Venue: UPG LRC
2 participant per section only
• Students will write their answer to the question: Which do you prefer: Traditional Book or E-books? Students will write down their answer, name, grade and section on a comment box. Students may decorate their comment box with emoticons or pictures just like a regular Facebook comment box.

CONTEST
Book Face Photo Contest
• All Students and Lasallian Partners will be challenged to create their own book face photography. Students get into someone’s head then take a picture with a book cover as their face. All photo entries can be viewed at the LRC Virtual Bulletin Board and DLSZ Facebook Page, and Instagram. Mechanics will be posted and distributed to all teachers concerned.
